Knife Care & Maintenance Tips

Make your edge last longer

Honing a knife with a ceramic rod

Hone Regularly

A few gentle passes on a honing rod each week keeps the edge aligned between sharpenings.

Wooden cutting board with knife

Use the Right Board

Cut on wood or soft plastic. Glass, stone and ceramic dull a blade in minutes.

Magnetic knife strip on a kitchen wall

Store It Safely

Keep knives on a magnetic strip, in a block or with a blade guard, never loose in a drawer.

Do you sharpen knives from other brands?

Yes. We sharpen any quality kitchen knife, including Western and Japanese styles. Please note we can't service ceramic blades.

How do I send my knives to you?
